Your server bandwidth is constantly monitored at its dedicated port. This data is used to calculate the server's average bandwidth (transfer rate), which is expressed as either GB/month or Kbps (kilobits per second), each server has access to a password protected web link to view reports at any time. We measure bandwidth based on actual data transfer and not on 95% percentile. Each server on our network is allocated a given amount of "free" bandwidth. You can burst up to 10Mbit or even 100Mbit depending on your port. Bandwidth usage beyond the allocated "free" bandwidth will incur additional "Per GB" charges. Please contact us for details.
Purchasing Bandwidth Blocks: If you intend to surpass your allocated free bandwidth, you would benefit from purchasing additional blocks of bandwidth for as low as $2 per GB. Additional bandwidth is available in blocks of 20GB. The more blocks you buy, the lower your cost. Please contact us for details.
High Volume Bandwidth: For customers with high bandwidth sites, we offer very competitive volume rates. Depending on your prepaid bandwidth choice, managed servers can enjoy bandwidth blocks for as little as $1 per GB. Please contact us for details.
Important Notice: There are no hidden fees for moving up or down the bandwidth range from one level to another. If you do not have prepaid bandwidth, your bandwidth will be charged at the overage rate.
